Arillas is situated at a distance of about 35 kilometers from the capital of the island of Corfu as well as from the airport and the port.

The resort is popular for families and couples and has a certain quiet and sheltered feel. The main road runs alongside the beach. However, there is no through road so very little traffic.

Arillas beach is distinctive in that it seems to change shape, according to the prevailing wind and currents. The water is very shallow and the sea bottom is flat and sandy making it the ideal place for children.
